Krystal Parle | Senior Lawyer

I am an Australian-qualified lawyer with experience across multiple Australian jurisdictions. I have worked with many different clients, including Queensland councils, bankruptcy trustees, ASX listed companies as well as with individuals and small businesses. This broad experience helps me to assist a broad range of clients with various legal issues.

Whether I am assisting individuals, small businesses or corporations, I apply tailored legal solutions to meet my clients’ needs and personalise the legal experience of each of my clients.

Underpayment of wages and breaches of the Fair Work Act

Krystal has worked with several clients to pursue recovery of underpaid wages, as well as other entitlements owing. Krystal is able to use her debt recovery skills and strategies and apply those skills to recovering underpaid wages on behalf of employees.

Non compete clause and advice on enforceability

Non compete clauses are complicated clauses that are commonly found in employment contracts and business sale agreements. Krystal has an indepth knowledge of non compete clauses and has advised our clients on enforceability and strategy to manage the non compete restraints.

Employment contract templates

Employment contracts are important to get right. Krystal's clients have included employers in niche industries and unusual awards, to employers that can simply refer to the National Employment Standards. Krystal has worked across various industries and Modern Awards to develop employment contract templates that work for our clients.

Adverse action claim and general protections

Acting on behalf of an employee, Krystal has pursued an adverse action claim. The claim arose after the employee applied for parental leave. The employer then commenced a performance management plan, in breach of the Fair Work Act and the general protections provisions.
